Why can't you just steam clean my rug in my living room?

We can steam clean synthetic rugs in-home, but for Wool or Oriental rugs, in-home cleaning is risky. It can trap moisture causing dry rot, damage hardwood floors, and fails to remove the deep dust impacted in the foundation. Our off-site immersion process is the only way to safely flush out 100% of the soil and urine.

How long will you have my rug?

Our standard turnaround time is 5 to 7 business days. This allows ample time for dusting, washing, fringe detailing, and proper controlled drying. If you have a specific deadline (like a party or event), please let us know, and we will try to accommodate a rush service.

Can you really get the dog pee smell out?

Yes, guaranteed. While steam cleaning often makes urine smells worse (by activating the crystals), our full immersion wash pit allows us to soak the rug in enzymes that digest the urine salts completely. We flush fresh water through the rug until the water runs clear and odorless.

Is pick-up and delivery really free?

Yes! For most customers in Reno and Sparks with a minimum order size (typically $150), pick-up and delivery are complimentary. We do the heavy lifting—moving furniture and rolling the rug for you. A small fuel surcharge may apply for outlying areas like Truckee or Carson City.

My rug's white fringe is grey/dirty. Can you fix it?

Yes. Fringe detailing is included in our premium wash. We scrub the cotton tassels by hand to remove the grey soil line. We avoid harsh bleaches that can rot the fiber; instead, we use specialized cotton brighteners to restore the natural white look safely.

Will the colors on my Persian rug run or bleed?

We test every rug for dye stability before touching it with water. If we detect unstable dyes (common in older Persian rugs), we use a dye-locking agent and cold water processing to freeze the colors in place, ensuring the reds don't bleed into the white areas.

Do I need a rug pad underneath?

We highly recommend it. A quality pad protects your hard floor from scratches, prevents the rug from slipping (a safety hazard), and allows the rug to "breathe," which prevents dust from grinding into the backing. We can cut a custom-sized pad for you upon delivery.
